Software Development with Continuous Delivery
Molnár, Dávid ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
Purpose of this work is to make the reader familiar with the principles of Continuous Delivery. Among them belongs automated deployment, frequent and repeatable delivery, versioning of applications and infrastructures configuration. These principles allow the develop-ment team to deliver the product very effective and ensure that customers get the ordered product in time and the fastest way possible. In the focus is the Windows platform, automatization and encryption of sensitive data. We will learn how to solve the problem of versioning relational databases and how to ensure working migration of database schema and data. Part of the work is a description, how to introduce Continuous Delivery in a team.
Design and Deployment of Information System for Management of Hardware
Eliáš, Filip ; Nguyen, Filip (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused at design and deployment of information system for management of hardware in Czech branch office of Red Hat. Design is based on analysis of current state, in which were revealed all flaws of current information system. Upon design of the information system, particular emphasis was placed on compliance of all requirements that should be met by information system. Part of the thesis is selection of appropriate method and process for deployment of information system.
MV Overhead Line Protections and their Coordination with Autoreclosers
Šoustal, Petr ; Skala, Petr (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s Thesis is to describe protections for overhead lines in distribution networks. Here are described requirements for the protection and the basic protections. Protections are divided according to their protective function. For each protection is given its use and its power plans. It is stated in the work setting of protection in the real network. On this network is simulated place with short-circuit and described the action of protection. The work also deals with the coordination of protection with automatic circuit breakers. This chapter shows that, given the selectivity is not possible to deploy two or more reclosers (remotely-operated switches) to the core network management. The next chapter describes two representatives reclosers available on the Czech market OSM 27 and GVR 27. Chapter describes and compares their performance characteristics. Conclusion the work includes a proposal protected the lead in incorporating automatic circuit breakers (remotely operated circuit breakers and reclosers). The proposal is based on two different levels of annual number of interruptions and duration of annual general interruption of electricity supply. For these levels the company EGÚ Brno, a.s. proposed several variants of the use of remote-controlled in terms of reducing the cost of the penalty. Our task was to choose a variant that would be applicable in the real network. Reducing costs is feasible only in the limits Ln = 6 failures / year and Lt = 720 min / year, where the selected option No. 4. The limits Ln = 8 failures / year and Lt = 1,080 min / year, not in the real network may no option in terms of selectivity.
The Automatic Update Mechanism of Software Packages in Cloud Distribution System
Willaschek, Tomáš ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Crha, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with web services that are used to distribute software components. NXP is a manufacturer of semiconductor devices. NXP also produces software component and tools for development of embedded software applications for those semiconductor devices. The aim of this work is to create a process that will deploy the software components on the distribution website and to create tests to verify functionality of this process. The solution includes an analysis of the original process, with the intention of preventing known problems and thus building a more reliable and efficient solution.
Deployment of a CRM System in a Production Company
Popelka, David ; Hégr, Robert (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the deployment of a CRM system in a production company Entity production, s.r.o. It is based upon found facts from analysis of the company’s processes and company itself, includes solution of the deployment of a CRM system in a company, including advantages and weaknesses connected with it.
Návrh, nasadenie a prevádzka systému digitalizačnej linky knižnice
Galanda, Jakub
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design, develop and put into operation a secure system for the digitization of documents for the staff of the Moravian Library in Brno. The design of the system will be based on a thorough analysis and will be handed over to the development team upon completion. After controlled development, the application will be containerized and then deployed. The result will be a new digitization line system that automates and simplifies the work of trained users.
The first and second war in the Gulf: significance of the technological superiority in modern warfare
Zuna, Dominik ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Bahenský, Vojtěch (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on role of modern technology in outcome of first and second Gulf war (1991 and 2003 respectively). Thesis is evaluating the role of technological advantage on the battlefield, skill difference between actors, role of air force, air supremacy and psychological and moral factors. Main goal of thesis is to compare the importance of all those factors in relation to the outcome of conflict(s) and review main theoretical approaches that offers explanation of how and why the conflicts ended the way they did. Both war campaings are thoroughly analyzed and compared against each other and confronted with the specific theories. Main discovery is, that the great results were caused by synergistic relation mainly between skill, technology and air support. Special chapter about practical and policy implications for AČR (Army of Czech Republic) is located at the end of thesis.

Using version management systems in software development
Holada, David ; Brožek, Jiří (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Josef (referee)
This thesis talks about version control sytems usage in terms of software development. There is introduced historical background of these systems together with reasons for their creation. Next are listed today's most used version control systems which are compared between each other. Further, there are showcased basic commands for work with version control systems. For demonstration of these commands is chosen version control system called Git. In practical part of this thesis there is talked about aplication of Git in Brackets IDE plugin Brackets Git. Finally, there are compared options for work with Git on server and options of auto-deployment.
